Mother’s Day is coming up!
Mother’s Day is a celebration honoring mothers, as well as motherhood, maternal bonds, and the influence of mothers in society.
It is celebrated on different days in many parts of the world, most commonly in the months of March or May.
Often in LDS congregations, the Primary will sing a song as part of Sacrament Meeting.
Here are eight songs that are commonly performed for Mother’s Day from the LDS Primary Hymn Book.
- Love is Spoken Here #190
- The Dearest Names #208
- Teach Me to Walk in the Light #177
- Mother, I Love You #207
- Mother, Tell Me the Story #204
- Mother Dear #206
- I Often Go Walking #202
- Grandmother #200
The next post will be ideas for teaching these LDS Primary Songs for Mother’s Day. I will also send out the link in an email to email subscribers.
