Oops, I dropped the pictures is where you put pictures up to go with the song, then “accidentally” drop the pictures. While you sing, tap children on the shoulder to put the pictures back in the correct order.

Action Word Actions are actions that you make up for each major word of the song like Nephi, plates, Laman, city gates, etc. Often I ask the children to help me make up the action. It helps the children remember the word order when they associate a movement with the major words. Silent singing is when you do the actions without singing, sometimes as the pianist is playing. It helps the brain learn to sing in pitch when you have to sing “inside” with silent singing.
