Video of the Movement: I Know That My Savior Loves Me for Older Children

I’m responding to a pretty please with cream and sugar to post a video of the movement for I Know That My Savior Loves Me for Older Children.  (It is true that pictures speak more words than we could ever fully explain!) Here is the Youtube url: http://youtu.be/1JrR9dN0ipo

Here is the video of the chorus: http://youtu.be/DVN_nK44RCE

I hope this helps.

Take care, Sharla

Look at the reply to Micah, who also has combined Jr/Sr. And thanks for asking!

Look at that adorable helper! And she makes it looks so easy! This 30 something-er practiced ALL week and then botched it when I got up in front of the kiddos last Sunday. But we all decided that we are determined to master it and I thank you for the visual help. At least I was doing it right in the comfort of my own home! 🙂 I am over the moon to have found you and to bring your methods to my North Carolina primary. You are a blessing to so many, Sister Dance! Thank you for sharing your talent and knowledge.

Dear Mandy, For some reason I teared up as I read your comment. I would love to bring light to the children’s eyes and help all of us trying to teach them. Thank you. I’m grateful you said something. Take care, Sharla

I hit reply too soon! I am definitely a visual person, so this helped me immensely! Thanks to you and your daughter for sharing, she was obviously blessed with your talent. Now you get a cherry on top! : )

I was so excited to find your blog, I love what you say about movement and learning and the “back door” approach. I tried teaching this and I guess I didn’t teach it right because half the kids couldn’t do it and just sat there or goofed off. They said it was too hard. I thought I was going slow enough but maybe not…or I just don’t have that knack of knowing what to do to get the kids engaged. 🙁

Dear Adrienne, Email me and let’s talk it through. It’s like a new recipe that has some “tips” to make it go better. Let’s talk it through. I would love to help you. Message me on Facebook so we can figure this out. Take care, Sharla

I had to go the the gear for settings under the video and change the playback to .25. This way I could write down the steps in order. Sharla, your voice still sounds beautiful at that speed.
